About SurvivorBuilt
SurvivorBuilt started from a gap nobody was filling.
After cancer treatment ends, the clinical support disappears. The appointments stop. The medical team is no longer on call. You're handed a survivorship care plan — sometimes a single printed page — and released into a life that looks like it did before but feels completely different.
The existing apps were built for active treatment: tracking meds, logging symptoms for a medical team, managing appointments. When treatment ended, they stopped being useful. Nothing was built for what came next: the scanxiety before every follow-up, the identity disruption, the work of rebuilding a life in a body that went through something extraordinary.
SurvivorBuilt is that something. Built by a cancer survivor who lived through the gap and came out the other side knowing exactly what was missing.
What we built
SurvivorBuilt combines three things no existing app has put together for survivors:
Clinical tracking — symptoms, medications, appointments, labs, side effects over time. The practical layer that keeps your care organized and your care team informed.
Emotional wellness tools — guided check-ins, mood mapping, milestone marking. The layer that acknowledges that healing isn't just physical and that survivorship has an emotional arc that deserves attention.
Multimedia journaling — photos, audio, written entries, voice memos. The expressive layer that lets you document your journey, process what happened, and build a record of your own resilience.
None of these alone is enough. Together, they're a survivorship platform.
Who we're for
Cancer survivors in the post-treatment phase. Active patients who want one place for the clinical and the emotional. People who have been failed by apps that felt clinical, corporate, and built for someone else's priorities.
Primarily women. Primarily in the US. Primarily in the years after active treatment ends, when the support structure disappears and the real work of healing begins.
Our commitment
The cancer app graveyard is real. 70% of cancer apps launched in 2018 were gone by 2024. Survivors have been burned by tools that disappeared. We know that. Our commitment: active development, visible changelogs, a named founder who is publicly accountable, and a business model that aligns with long-term survivor outcomes, not short-term metrics.
We're here for the long arc of survivorship. So are you.
